Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of services by OmniCert Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”) to the client (“you” or “your”). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.


2. Our Services

We provide safety, compliance, and electrical services, including but not limited to:

  • Electrical testing and certification

  • Fire safety system installation and maintenance

  • Security system installation (CCTV, alarms, access control)

  • Legionella risk assessments

  • Health & safety audits and consultancy

3. Quotations & Orders

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

  • An order is deemed accepted once written confirmation is received from the client.

  • We reserve the right to revise or withdraw quotations prior to acceptance.


4. Prices & Payment Terms

  • Prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

  • Invoices must be paid within 14 or 30 days of the invoice date (as agreed).

  • Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services in the event of non-payment.


5. Access & Client Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the premises.

  • Ensure the site is ready for work to commence.

  • Provide all necessary utilities (e.g. electricity, water) required to perform the work.

Delays due to inadequate site readiness may incur additional charges.


6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made in writing at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Short-notice cancellations may incur a fee to cover time and costs.

  • Rescheduling will be accommodated where possible, subject to availability.


7. Warranties & Liability

  • We warrant that our services will be performed with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with UK regulations.

  • Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the services in question.

  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.


8. Insurance

OmniCert Ltd maintains appropriate insurance, including public liability and professional indemnity insurance. Evidence can be provided upon request.


9. Confidentiality

We will treat any personal or business information you provide as confidential and in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.


10. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform resulting from events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, weather, supply chain disruptions, or equipment failure.


11. Termination

We may terminate the agreement with immediate effect if:

  • You fail to pay on time.

  • You breach any material term of these Terms.

  • We are unable to complete work due to circumstances beyond our control.

You may terminate services by giving reasonable written notice, subject to applicable cancellation charges.


12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.


13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
